Two individuals were arrested in North Brisbane on May 12, following a series of events involving a stolen vehicle and traffic offenses. The Queensland Police Service reported that a black Range Rover was stolen from Mackellar Street in Teneriffe at approximately 1:30 AM. Later in the day, police spotted the stolen vehicle in North Brisbane and tracked it towards Moreton Bay. The Range Rover was involved in a collision with a Toyota Camry and a Subaru Crosstrek on Pinacle Street, Brendale around 10:40 AM, before fleeing the scene. Shortly after, the vehicle struck a police car on Leitchs Road and was finally stopped. The driver, a 28-year-old man from New Farm, faces multiple charges including unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a vehicle, and possession of dangerous drugs. The passenger, a 20-year-old woman from Morayfield, was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and drug possession. Both are scheduled to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on May 13.
