Gold Coast detectives have charged a 33-year-old man from Molendinar in connection with the stabbing of a 17-year-old boy last November. The incident occurred at a Batchworth Road address in Molendinar at about 7:30 pm on November 6, 2025, prompting a swift response from police and emergency services.

Upon arrival, the authorities found the teenager with serious injuries. He was quickly transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in critical condition. Reports indicate that following the stabbing, two suspects fled the scene in a white Mercedes-Benz utility vehicle. The vehicle was later found abandoned at a business on Marine Parade, Labrador.

The charged individual faces one count of acts intended to maim, disfigure, or disable. He is set to appear in Southport Magistrates Court today. As the investigation continues, police urge anyone with information to come forward and assist by contacting Policelink or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
