In a recent address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy acknowledged the significant achievements of the National Police, the National Guardsmen, and various officers for their role in safeguarding the nation amid ongoing tensions with Russia.

In a detailed evening speech, Zelenskyy highlighted the National Police’s successful execution of one of Ukraine’s largest crime crackdowns. The operation involved over 500 searches, leading to nearly a hundred arrests, the dismantlement of 34 drug labs, and the seizure of 70 storage units. The president expressed deep gratitude not only to the national forces but also to the Security Service of Ukraine, the Prosecutor’s Office, other state bodies, and international partners for their cooperation in this extensive operation.

Additionally, the president extended his appreciation to the National Guardsmen, particularly the Omega Special Forces Center, for their valiant efforts on the front lines. These forces have been crucial in defensive and proactive strike-and-search missions across strategic sectors, including the Pokrovsk sector.

Amidst the chaos caused by recent Russian missile and drone attacks, Zelenskyy also commended individual police officers in various cities who have been instrumental in rescue operations. These officers have played critical roles in evacuating civilians, providing first aid, and offering psychological support during these attacks. Specific officers from cities such as Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Odesa were honored for their bravery and steadfast commitment to their communities.

President Zelenskyy’s address not only served as a commendation for these heroes but also as a reaffirmation of Ukraine’s resilience and unity in the face of adversity. “Thank you and all your colleagues! Thank you to everyone who is in Ukraine and with Ukraine, who defends our state, our positions, and our people,” Zelenskyy emphasized, capturing the nation’s collective sentiment towards its defenders.
