Detectives are currently investigating a violent incident that occurred in Coorparoo, leaving three people wounded, Queensland Police reported late Saturday evening. The altercation took place around 5:15 PM at a venue on Main Avenue, following a disturbance involving several individuals. Emergency services rushed to the scene after receiving reports of the incident. Upon arrival, a 20-year-old woman was found with multiple stab wounds to her head and body, and a 61-year-old man also sustained a stab wound to his abdomen. Both victims were transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Additionally, a 41-year-old woman received a minor arm wound. Authorities have taken a 33-year-old man into custody in connection with the incident; he also suffered minor injuries during the event. Queensland Police are urging witnesses or anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
