Queensland Police have issued an appeal for assistance regarding two unsettling incidents at Wurtulla Beach last month, accompanied by the release of CCTV images of a man who might have vital information. In the early hours of January 10, a man reported a person being swept out to sea using the SLSQ 24-hour emergency phone located at Beach Access 248 on Oceanic Drive. Despite a prompt response and extensive search by lifeguards and police, no one was found at the scene. A similar incident occurred just two days later, with another call reporting a comparable emergency, which also resulted in no findings after a search was conducted. Authorities are urging the man in the CCTV footage, or anyone who recognizes him, to come forward to assist with the investigation. The public is also encouraged to report any relevant information or footage related to these incidents to the police. Information can be provided through Policelink, Crime Stoppers, or by using the online suspicious activity form available 24 hours a day. Queensland Police are committed to ensuring the safety of the community and resolving these mysterious incidents swiftly. Reports can also be made anonymously via Crime Stoppers to ensure privacy and security for those coming forward with information. Post navigation Tabcorp Fined for Illegal Betting
