A fatal traffic accident disrupted Brisbane on the afternoon of January 23, leading to the death of a 69-year-old Toowong man and causing significant traffic delays. The Queensland Police Service’s Forensic Crash Unit is actively investigating the incident that occurred around 1:20 PM on Hale Street.

According to the police report, a white Toyota Rav4, driven by the deceased, was traveling southbound when it collided with two other vehicles and subsequently a tree. The driver was treated at the scene but unfortunately passed away shortly after. The occupants of the other vehicles involved were reported uninjured.

Following the crash, Hale Street remained closed until 5 PM, causing considerable traffic disruption.
