Queensland Police are urgently requesting public assistance in locating a grey Mazda BT50 stolen from a business in Aspley on January 9, 2026. The incident, which occurred around 10:35 am at a Gympie Road business, involved an unidentified man who entered the premises from Brickfield Road and subsequently fled north on Gympie Road with the vehicle. The Queensland Police Service (QPS) released video footage and are appealing to the public to help identify the suspect involved in the theft. Authorities are encouraging not only the man, if he recognizes himself, but also anyone who may recognize him to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
