Police in Queensland are currently investigating a severe traffic accident that occurred in Lutwyche on the night of December 25. A white Toyota Camry, driven by a 73-year-old woman from Lawnton, lost control and collided with a pole on Lutwyche Road around 11:45 pm.

The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, sustained significant leg injuries and was urgently taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. She remains in a serious but stable condition.
