Police in Queensland are calling for witnesses after an early morning shooting incident at a licensed venue in Banyo on December 9, 2025. Officials reported that two masked assailants fired into the doors of the establishment located at the intersection of Nudgee Road and Approach Road at approximately 3:50 AM. According to the Queensland Police Service (QPS), the suspects, dressed entirely in black and masked, attempted to force entry into the venue after shooting, causing additional damage. They fled the scene on e-scooters before the police could arrive. Despite the presence of several staff and patrons inside at the time, no injuries have been reported. Authorities are urging anyone with information, particularly those with CCTV or dashcam footage near the scene around the time of the incident, to come forward. The ongoing investigation hopes to utilize community assistance to track down the perpetrators.
