Deception Bay E-Scooter Tragedy

In the early hours of December 5th, a serious incident occurred involving a single e-scooter along Deception Bay Road. A 46-year-old man from Rothwell, who was operating the e-scooter, tragically lost control and suffered severe injuries after crashing. The Queensland Police Service’s Forensic Crash Unit is currently investigating the circumstances that led to the accident.

The rider was promptly transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with significant head injuries. Authorities confirmed that no other vehicles or individuals were implicated in the event.
