Ukraine Stands Strong Against Russia

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine, in a recent address, highlighted the daily achievements of the Ukrainian military against Russian forces, emphasizing the nation’s robust defense capabilities. The address, delivered on November 26, 2025, followed a detailed staff meeting where air defense, including the production of interceptors and the downing of Russian missiles and drones, was a primary focus.

President Zelenskyy expressed confidence in Ukraine’s self-reliance, particularly in military production, stressing that Ukraine cannot depend on global markets or partners’ stockpiles for defense needs. The increase in production of air defense systems was prioritized to protect both frontline positions and critical energy facilities. The President also addressed the equitable distribution of personnel among brigades and the adjustment of brigade replenishments as key issues.

In his speech, Zelenskyy refuted the narrative pushed by Russia that Ukraine is unable to defend itself, citing the valor and effectiveness of Ukrainian forces in recent combat. He detailed the significant contributions of various brigades across different regions, including Kupyansk and Donetsk, and praised their relentless spirit in the ongoing conflict.

Additionally, President Zelenskyy announced the initiation of winter support payments to aid citizens during the colder months, with a significant number of applications already processed through various channels. This financial support is also intended to bolster the morale and resources of the Ukrainian military through voluntary donations.

The Ukrainian leader’s address not only reaffirmed the military’s strong defensive posture but also rallied national and international support for Ukraine’s continued resistance against Russian aggression.
