A tragic automobile accident claimed the life of a 66-year-old man in Ayr on the afternoon of November 9, 2025. Queensland Police report that the incident involved a single vehicle, a white Kia Sorento, which collided with a tree on Railway Street around 3:45 pm.

The Forensic Crash Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. The elderly driver, whose identity has yet to be disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene.
