Queensland detectives are urgently seeking public assistance following the attempted murder of a 17-year-old boy in Molendinar. The incident, which occurred on the night of November 6, has triggered a widespread investigation as authorities intensify their search for the assailants.

The police reported that a white Mercedes-Benz X250D Dual Cab Ute, registered under QLD Rego 713LY3, was spotted fleeing the scene at Batchworth Road shortly after the attack. The vehicle was later found abandoned at a business on Marine Parade, Labrador, adding to the mystery of the night’s events.

Authorities are now calling on anyone who may have video footage or information related to the vehicle’s route, including locations at Batchworth Road in Molendinar, Cotlew Street in Ashmore, and Marine Parade in Labrador, between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm, to come forward. The Queensland Police believe that the owner of the Mercedes-Benz could provide crucial insights into the investigation.
