Early this morning on October 20, 2025, a fatal incident occurred involving a trail bike rider in Osborne, Burdekin, which is currently under investigation by the Queensland Police Service’s Forensic Crash Unit. At approximately 6:00 AM, local police were dispatched to Iona Road following reports of an unresponsive trail bike rider. The 25-year-old man from Ayr was discovered with critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin. Queensland Police are actively seeking assistance from the public. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has relevant video footage is encouraged to come forward.
