Tragic Morning in Osborne

Early this morning on October 20, 2025, a fatal incident occurred involving a trail bike rider in Osborne, Burdekin, which is currently under investigation by the Queensland Police Service’s Forensic Crash Unit.

At approximately 6:00 AM, local police were dispatched to Iona Road following reports of an unresponsive trail bike rider. The 25-year-old man from Ayr was discovered with critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
