Teen Robbed at Knife-point

Police in Hervey Bay are seeking public assistance following an armed robbery that occurred on the evening of October 19, 2025, in Point Vernon. A 17-year-old boy was threatened with a knife and robbed of his car while parked along Charleton Esplanade.

At approximately 8:30 PM, the victim, seated in his white Mitsubishi Triton dual cab ute, was approached by three male assailants. The suspects demanded the teenager’s vehicle under the threat of a knife. The vehicle, which has the Queensland registration 111JO5, has not yet been recovered.

Authorities have issued a call for witnesses or anyone who may have captured relevant video footage to come forward. The Queensland Police Service underscores that the victim was not physically harmed during the incident, but the search for the suspects and the stolen vehicle continues.
