In a recent address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy outlined strategic plans to enhance the nation’s defense capabilities through increased weapon production and international cooperation. The announcement follows a significant Technology Staff meeting involving top officials and weapon manufacturers.

President Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of maximizing Ukraine’s manufacturing capacity, noting that the Ministry of Defense and other relevant bodies are tasked with ensuring manufacturers receive orders they can fulfill. Funding from international partners, particularly for drones, is playing a crucial role in this initiative. The President highlighted that agreements have already been reached for controlled exports to the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, aiming to boost Ukraine’s production of urgently needed military supplies.

Additionally, President Zelenskyy provided updates on the ongoing Dobropillia counteroffensive, celebrating significant territorial gains and effective operations against Russian forces. He also commended Ukrainian units for their defensive efforts in challenging areas such as Kupyansk and the Kharkiv border. Furthermore, Zelenskyy participated in the Warsaw Security Forum, advocating for stronger sanctions against Russia and collaborative defense strategies to protect Europe’s eastern flank.

In a broader diplomatic gesture, President Zelenskyy congratulated Moldovan President Maia Sandu on her party’s parliamentary election victory, marking a significant step toward European integration for Moldova.
