Police are seeking public assistance following a robbery in Slacks Creek, Queensland, on the night of September 29, 2025. Around 10 p.m., a man reportedly entered a taxi on Smith Road, threatened the driver, and made off with the vehicle and the driver’s phone. The driver retained the vehicle keys and was unharmed.

The stolen taxi, identified as a green Haval Jolion Wagon, was found abandoned shortly after the incident on Smith Street near its intersection with Christopher Street. The suspect is described as Caucasian, with short blonde curly hair, tattoos on his neck and arms, and was last seen wearing black pants and a hoodie.

Authorities are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage that could aid in the investigation to come forward. The investigation remains ongoing.
