In a tragic incident on the Gold Coast, a 17-year-old boy from Tallebudgera lost his life following a collision between an e-bike and a car. The accident occurred around 4 p.m. on September 22, 2025, at the intersection of Tallebudgera Creek Road and Fenton Drive. The young rider was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, also a 17-year-old from Tallebudgera, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment. The driver of the Mitsubishi Outlander, a 65-year-old man from Robina, was also hospitalized with minor injuries. Queensland Police are actively investigating the crash.
