In a significant operation, Queensland Police have charged three individuals following the discovery of firearms and drugs during a search in Deception Bay on September 18. The search, conducted by officers from the Deception Bay Station, led to the seizure of a sawn-off shotgun, various live ammunition, firearm magazines, homemade firearm components, counterfeit money, steroids, and an array of dangerous drugs including cannabis, methylamphetamines, MDMA, heroin, and GHB. A 35-year-old man from Deception Bay faces multiple charges, including possession of dangerous drugs, possessing shortened firearms, and possessing counterfeit money. He has been denied bail and is set to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court today. Meanwhile, a 42-year-old man from Kallangur has been charged with drug possession and will appear in court on October 13.
