The incident occurred on Sunday, September 14, when emergency services were called to the Scenic Highway establishment around 7:45 p.m. following reports of a woman falling. The 50-year-old woman was immediately airlifted to Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries on September 17. A 42-year-old man from Rosslyn, who was acquainted with the deceased, is assisting police with their inquiries. Authorities are appealing for public assistance, particularly from patrons who were at the licensed premises between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on the night of the incident. Police are eager to speak with two groups who left around 7:30 p.m. and the occupants of a dual cab utility that exited the carpark shortly thereafter.
