Samsung Medison is making significant strides in women’s healthcare by introducing advanced ultrasound technologies at the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG 2025) in Cancún, Mexico. The company showcased its comprehensive solutions designed to enhance diagnostic accuracy and support healthcare professionals across various stages of women’s lives, from adolescence to menopause. The highlight of the presentation was the upgraded HERA Z20, a versatile diagnostic tool tailored to manage women’s health at every life stage. This innovative equipment features newly added solutions like PelvicAssist and enhanced reporting functionalities, which aim to simplify complex diagnostic procedures and improve accuracy in addressing gynecological conditions. The Mini ER7 probe was also introduced, designed to minimize discomfort during examinations, particularly benefiting adolescent and elderly patients. Samsung Medison’s efforts do not stop at general women’s health. The company has also integrated features to support high-risk pregnancies. The new Ophthalmic Artery feature aids in early detection of pre-eclampsia, while the expanded HeartAssist ensures continuous monitoring of cardiovascular conditions during pregnancy. These innovations are bolstered by Live ViewAssist, which streamlines the diagnostic process by automating image extraction and analysis, significantly reducing the time required for accurate diagnosis. Jihyun Kim, Head of the CX group at Samsung Medison, emphasized that the upgraded HERA Z20 is more than just an equipment enhancement. By merging AI technology with clinical expertise, Samsung Medison aims to not only improve diagnostic precision but also alleviate the burdens of healthcare professionals, driving meaningful change in the field of women’s health.
