A tragic traffic accident in Kirwan has resulted in the death of a 21-year-old motorcyclist. The fatal crash occurred on Thursday, September 4, when emergency services responded to a collision on Ross River Road involving a black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle and a red Toyota Landcruiser. Initial police investigations report that the motorcycle mounted a median strip during the incident and subsequently struck a tree. The young rider was transported to the hospital with serious injuries but unfortunately succumbed to them later. The driver of the Toyota, a 62-year-old man from Gulliver, was unharmed in the collision.
