Detectives from the Redcliffe Criminal Investigation Branch are seeking public assistance following an armed robbery at Mango Hill last month. On August 16, at approximately 4:15 pm, a man entered a business on Halpine Drive armed with a firearm, demanding cash from an employee. The suspect, described as having tanned skin, standing between 175 to 180 cm tall, and sporting dark brown facial hair, fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. Notably, no injuries were reported during the incident. Authorities describe the man as wearing a yellow high visibility vest, a white long sleeve jumper, dark colored long pants, dark brown boots, and carrying a black backpack. Police are urging anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from Halpine Drive between 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm on the day of the robbery to come forward. In addition, detectives are appealing to anyone who might recognize the suspect or have relevant information to aid the investigation.
