Brisbane Forensic Crash Unit officers have charged a 19-year-old man in connection with an e-scooter and bicycle crash at Cameron Rocks Reserve in Hamilton. The incident occurred on May 7 when an e-scooter traveling on Kingsford Smith Drive collided with a bike on the Lores Bonney Riverwalk.

According to reports, the rider of the e-scooter initially stayed at the scene briefly but left before emergency services arrived. The 19-year-old Zillmere man was charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle and failing to comply with duties of a rider involved in an injury crash. He is set to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on June 24.
