In a dramatic incident in Runcorn, Queensland Police have charged two men following a robbery on August 27. The event unfolded around 8 am on Persse Road, where three vehicles had stopped. Allegations indicate that a physical altercation took place between the occupants of these vehicles.

According to police reports, some individuals from one of the vehicles allegedly threatened the others with a machete and demanded personal items. When the demands were not met, one of the men is said to have bitten another individual. Authorities swiftly responded to the scene and arrested two men involved in the incident.

The suspects, a 21-year-old from Sunnybank and a 23-year-old from Holland Park, are facing multiple charges. These include armed robbery in company, assault occasioning bodily harm while armed, and possession of dangerous drugs, among others. Both are scheduled to appear before the Richlands Magistrates Court today, August 28.

The occupants of the other vehicles sustained minor injuries. Police are urging anyone with further information to contact Policelink or report anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
