Police in Queensland are seeking public assistance to locate a 26-year-old woman who escaped custody from a medical facility in Gladstone. The woman, identified as Marion Kay, fled the Park Street facility around 6 p.m. yesterday and remains at large.

Authorities have expressed concern for both her wellbeing and public safety, as Kay requires ongoing medical supervision. She is described as being of First Nations descent, approximately 162 cm tall with a slim build, dark red hair, and brown eyes. At the time of her escape, she was wearing grey track pants, a black shirt, and was handcuffed.

The Queensland Police Service is urging anyone with information regarding Kay’s whereabouts to refrain from approaching her. Instead, they should contact the police immediately. Members of the public can provide information through Policelink or anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
