Two men have been charged following a serious assault incident that occurred in Rosewood on August 23. The Queensland Police Service reported that altercations involving three men took place around 8:15 pm at the intersection of Royal George Lane and John Street.

A 26-year-old man from Rosewood suffered severe facial injuries and was hospitalized at Ipswich Base Hospital. Following investigations, authorities charged a 46-year-old man from Rosewood and a 21-year-old man from Ipswich on August 25. Both face charges of assault occasioning bodily harm and wilful damage.

The suspects are scheduled to appear before the Ipswich Magistrates Court on September 18. The investigation remains active, and police are urging any witnesses or individuals with information or footage of the incident to come forward.
