Police in Queensland are seeking public assistance following a hit-and-run incident that occurred on August 8 in Cannon Hill. The accident involved a car striking a 59-year-old woman and her dog at the intersection of Creek Road and Murarrie Road around 7:30 a.m. The driver did not stop to render assistance.

The vehicle involved is suspected to be a grey or black hatchback, possibly a Toyota Corolla. Fortunately, the woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received prompt medical attention, while her dog was treated by a veterinarian.
