A young man from Kingaroy has tragically lost his life following a traffic accident in Hivesville, located in the South Burnett region of Queensland. The incident occurred early on the morning of July 19, as a Toyota Hilux traveling on Wondai Preston Road struck the 18-year-old who was lying on the roadway.

Initial investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit suggest the accident happened around 6 am. Despite emergency services being promptly dispatched to the scene, the young man sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead on site. Authorities are currently probing the circumstances that led to this tragic event.
