In a significant police operation, a 44-year-old man from Caboolture has been charged with multiple drug and weapon offences following the search of a vehicle on July 16. Queensland Police intercepted the white Holden Commodore on Summerfields Drive around midnight, uncovering a firearm, ammunition, a hunting knife, stolen licence plates, and drug paraphernalia. The man, whose identity has not been disclosed, faces six charges including unlawful possession of weapons, possession of a knife in public, and possession of property suspected for drug offences. These charges underscore the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to curb illegal activities in the area. Scheduled to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on July 29, the accused faces serious legal consequences.
