NASA has unveiled its latest Software Catalog, offering over 1,200 downloadable codes developed by the agency’s engineers. This initiative aims to accelerate technological advancements and stimulate economic growth by providing businesses, researchers, and entrepreneurs access to cutting-edge software solutions. The catalog is part of NASA’s ongoing effort to promote innovation by making its advanced technologies widely available. The Software Catalog, updated for 2025-2026, is organized into 15 categories, catering to various industries, including spacecraft and aircraft development. Notable sections include Vehicle Management, which features tools for satellite constellation design and public safety risk minimization, and Aeronautics, offering programs for aircraft design and analysis. These resources enable companies to adapt NASA’s software for diverse applications, from automotive design to project management. NASA’s Technology Transfer program, managed by the Space Technology Mission Directorate, oversees the catalog. The agency has reported a significant increase in software downloads since the catalog’s inception in 2013, highlighting the growing demand and impact of the program. Although some software is restricted to U.S. citizens or government use, NASA continues to enhance the catalog’s website for user-friendly access. For more information, the agency is hosting a series of webinars starting July 22, where developers will discuss popular programs and their applications. Interested parties can access the catalog and learn more by visiting NASA’s dedicated software website. Post navigation ACMA Revamps SMS ID Rules UK’s AI Supercomputer Isambard-AI Goes Live
