Homicide Probe Launched in Warana

Police in Queensland have initiated a homicide investigation following the discovery of a 57-year-old man with fatal stab wounds in Warana. The incident occurred on the evening of July 14, prompting an immediate response from emergency services at a residence on Napalle Street.

Authorities were alerted after a neighbor found the man unresponsive in his front yard around 7:35 pm. Upon arrival, police confirmed the presence of multiple stab wounds in the man’s abdomen and declared him deceased at the scene. A crime scene was subsequently established as part of Operation Xray Elting.

The Queensland Police Service is actively seeking information from the public to assist in the investigation. They are requesting anyone with knowledge or CCTV footage from the area between 11 pm on July 13 and 7:35 pm on July 14 to come forward.
