Logan detectives have charged a 21-year-old man in connection with the armed robbery of a delivery driver in Browns Plains, Queensland. The incident occurred around 9 PM on June 15, when the driver, delivering nitrous oxide canisters, was allegedly assaulted by two men who then fled with the goods.

Following an investigation that included a review of CCTV footage, police executed search warrants at two properties on Creekside Crescent, Flagstone. During the searches, officers found several empty nitrous oxide canisters, cannabis, and mobile phones.

The Flagstone man now faces charges of armed robbery, possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of a drug utensil. He is scheduled to appear again in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on August 22.

Detective Acting Inspector Adam Bennett emphasized the police’s commitment to tackling violent and drug-related crimes. “This was a calculated and coordinated attack on an unsuspecting delivery driver who was simply doing his job,” he stated. “Thanks to the dedication of our officers, we’ve swiftly identified one of the alleged offenders.”

The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities urging anyone with information to contact Policelink or Crime Stoppers.
