In a tragic incident yesterday, a 43-year-old man lost his life following a head-on collision involving two vehicles in Mundoolun, Queensland. The crash occurred around 2 p.m. on Collins Creek Road, where a white Ford Ranger collided with a white Mitsubishi Canter. The driver of the Mitsubishi, hailing from Hope Island, was airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, the 20-year-old driver of the Ford from Jimboomba was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Authorities are seeking assistance from the public, urging any witnesses or individuals with dash cam footage of the vehicles prior to the collision to contact police.
